Installation of cable tray

1. The overall plane layout of the cable bridge should be the shortest distance, economical and reasonable, safe operation, and should meet the requirements of construction, installation, maintenance and laying of cables.

2. The cable tray should have sufficient rigidity and strength to provide reliable support for the cable.

3. After the cable is laid, the deflection of the cable bridge should not be greater than 1/200 of the span of the cable bridge. When the cable bridge span is ≥ 6000mm, its deflection should not be greater than 1/150 of the cable bridge span.

4. Cable bridges should be installed on constructions and structures (such as walls, columns, beams, floor slabs, etc.) as much as possible, in close cooperation with civil engineering professionals.

5. When the cable tray and the technical pipe stand are installed together, the cable tray should be arranged on one side of the pipe stand.

6. When the cable bridge is erected in parallel with various pipes, the net distance shall meet the following requirements:

(1) When the cable bridge is erected in parallel with general process pipes (such as compressed air pipes, etc.), it is not less than 400mm.

(2) When the cable bridge is erected in parallel with the corrosive liquid pipeline, it is not less than 500mm.

(3) The cable tray should not be installed in parallel below the pipeline carrying corrosive liquid or above the pipeline with corrosive gas. When it is unavoidable, it should not be less than 500mm. And it should be separated by anti-corrosive partition.

(4) The cable bridge is erected in parallel with the thermal pipeline. The thermal pipeline has a thermal insulation layer of not less than 500mm and no thermal insulation layer of not less than 1000mm.

(5) The cable bridge should not be installed in parallel above the heat pipe. When it is unavoidable to install in parallel above the heat pipe, it should not be less than 1000mm, and effective thermal insulation measures should be taken in between.

7. When the cable bridge crosses various pipes, its net distance should meet the following requirements:

(1) When the cable bridge crosses the general process pipe, it is not less than 300mm.

(2) When the cable bridge crosses below the pipe with corrosive liquid or above the pipe with corrosive gas, the cable bridge should be not less than 500mm, and the cable bridge should be protected with anti-corrosion cover at the intersection, and the length of the cover should not be less than d + 2000mm, (d is the outer diameter of the pipe).

(3) The cable bridge crosses the thermal pipeline. When the thermal pipeline has a thermal insulation layer, it should not be less than 500mm. When there is no thermal insulation layer, it should not be less than 1000mm. Insulation boards (such as asbestos boards) should be used to protect the cable bridge at the intersection. , The length of the insulation board should not be less than d + 2000mm. (D is the outer diameter of the thermal insulation layer of the heat pipe)

8. When the cable bridge is installed through the wall, a sealing device should be used according to the environmental conditions:

(1) When the cable tray passes through the wall from the normal environment and enters the fireproof and explosion-proof environment, the corresponding sealing device shall be installed on the wall.

(2) When the cable tray passes through the wall from indoor to outdoor, rainproof measures shall be taken on the outside of the wall.

(3) When the cable tray is installed from the wall through the wall to an outdoor place, the cable tray should be tilted down for an appropriate distance before being erected upward to prevent rainwater from flowing into the room along the cable tray.

(4) When the cable bridge passes the expansion and settlement joint, the cable bridge should be disconnected, and the disconnection distance should be about 100mm.

9. When two sets of cable bridges are installed on the same beam, the net distance between the two sets of cable bridges should not be less than 50mm.

10. When multi-layer installation of cable trays laying 10kV and above cables, the layer spacing is generally not less than 300mm.

11. The distance from the cable tray to the bottom of the floor, beam or other obstacles should not be less than 300mm.

12. In general, the distance between the supporting arms supporting the cable bridge is about 1.5 ~ 3, and it is checked according to the specific situation.

13. When the cable bridge is installed horizontally, its direct board connection should not be placed on 1/2 of the span or on the support point.

14. The cantilever segment that appears during the installation of the cable tray should generally not exceed 1000mm.

15. The cable tray should not be used as a pedestrian walkway.

16. In one of the following cases, the cable bridge should be protected by a protective cover:

(1) When the cable tray is installed outdoors, its uppermost layer or each layer.

(2) When the cable tray is installed under an iron operator board or similar perforated device, the uppermost cable tray should be covered with a protective cover. If the width of the uppermost cable tray is smaller than the width of the lower tray, the lower cable tray is also protected cover.

(3) When the cable tray is installed vertically, the cable tray within 2m from the plane where it is located.
